If you are searching for a new companion to join your family, then you're in luck! On the average day, The Happy Little Rescue is home to over 50 adoptable pets. We believe that there is a perfect home out there for each of our temporary residents, and no matter how long it takes we strive to help them find it. Our mission is to ensure that each of the animals in our care live a happy and healthy life while awaiting their forever home.

Harlee
This adorable, long, lanky boy is just 6 months old and FULL of puppy love to share! Harlee loves everyone he meets; dogs, cats, kids, you name it!
Due to his bouncy personality, Harlee's ideal home would have a secure yard with a high privacy fence.
Smokey
Smokey and her sister Bandit came to us through no fault of their own after their family members went through a sudden health crisis which left them unable to provide her and her sister with the care they need.
Smokey is a four year old husky who has a heart of gold and is a total charmer. She loves to greet every human she meets with MAXIMUM enthusiasm!
Her active, outgoing and extremely affectionate personality make her every husky lovers dream dog!
Titan
At just 2 years old; this sweet, gentle boy has lived an extremely tough life. Titan came to us from an extremely neglectful environment where he suffered some severe injuries. Despite the fact that humans have given him very little reason to trust us; Titan is one of the most gentle and loving dogs we've ever met. He has never met a stranger and has already quickly stolen the hearts of our entire staff. Titan loves people and other dogs of all shape and size and we know he will make an amazing companion for any person or family.
Jyn
Adoption Pending!
This adorable long lanky hound mix, has a heart of gold and is always up for a snuggle! Jyn is the last of her litter to find a home, and has been partying it up in one of our amazing foster homes! This girl is ready to join you on all your summer adventures and has even already become a regular at several local brewery's!
She adores kiddos and gets along with other dogs of all shape and size, making her the ideal companion for any person or family!

Shyla
Adoption Pending!
Shyla and her two sisters made quite the journey in order to get to our rescue; coming all the way from Texas by plane!
Shyla's sisters have since found their people and Shyla is the last of her trio waiting to find her perfect match! Although she can be a wee bit shy when meeting new people, Shyla is quick to warm up with a few treats and some quality scratches!
This adorable shepherd mix would do great in a home with people and other dogs of all shape!
Pancake
This two year old cutie pie is searching for a new adventure buddy (or buddies). Pancake is a loyal, adventurous Heeler mix,. He's a playful boy, who does great with people and other dogs and would love to find an active person or family to take him on all of their adventures!
Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a 3 year old bulldog with a big head and the personality to match! She is a total lover, who enjoys making friends wherever she goes.
While Cinnamon loves people, she can be a bit nervous around tiny humans and because of this would prefer a home without any small kiddos!
*Cinnamon will be available for adoption once she has been fixed and vaccinated *
Toby
At 7 years old, Toby is a laid back, go with the flow guy! He is searching for a like-minded person or family to enjoy daily walks followed by a relaxing evening curled up on the couch with. Toby absolutely adores kiddos and does well with other mellow dogs!

Captain
Captain is a 2 and a half year old Cattle Dog mix and a massive goofball! With a heart of gold, Captain loves to make new friends wherever he goes! His happy-go-lucky, permanent puppy-like personality are guaranteed to provide any home with non-stop laughter and fun!
Reilly
Reilly is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd and an absolute gentleman. His loyal, loving and playful personality make him impossible not to love! Reilly gets along great with other dogs and has even lived with cats before! He loves people, and especially adores kiddos, but has had some not so great experiences with men in the past and because of this may need a bit more time to warm up to any new men in his life!
Moose
Moose is a very typical hound. He is dog friendly, people friendly and kid friendly! He has a moderate energy level as long as he gets on a daily walk or hike. He can be quite vocal (the hound in him), but is well behaved when he is around his people! He is untested with cats, but we suspect he would do well.

Koda
Koda is a fan favorite at the Happy Little Rescue. Because he is a Great Pyreneese/Akbash mix, he isn't a perfect fit for everyone; but don't let that fool you, he is a HUGE lover. He loves people and other dogs and spends his days in the play yard wrestling with his friends. However, typical of the LGD breeds, he tends to be territorial of his space and people, therefore would do best in a home without other dogs (just lots of play dates outside of his home!) The perfect home for Koda would be someone with experience in LGD breeds who can understand their tendencies. Are you looking for a loyal, cuddly polar bear? This dog is for you!
Templeton
Despite the fact that he may look older, this charming Beagle Mix is just 3 years old! While he is an active boy, who loves playtime and is always up for adventure; Templeton also looks forward to slow evenings on the couch watching the latest episode of his humans favorite show! Templeton has a heart of gold and adores people, but can be nervous around small kids and because of this would prefer a home with kids over 10!

Almond & Pups
This sweet Rez momma came to us from Moab Utah, with her five little pups. Since then this devoted momma and her babes have been soaking up some much needed love in one of our amazing foster homes.

North
North is a sweet and loyal girl with moderate energy levels for a heeler. She gets a long well with other dogs, but overall prefers attention from people! She is smart and food motivated and therefore would be an easy girl to train.
Wybie
Wybie and her sister Coraline are wonderful dogs that are going to need a very patient home. These dogs came from a house that gave them little to no interaction with people. Because of this, they are extremely shy and skittish around new people. This does not mean that they can not acclimate to life in a typical home! With time and patience, these dogs come out of their shell and are so grateful for love and affection. Because of their fears, we do not recommend a home with kids.

Coraline

Twerk
This extra special girl is searching for an extra special person or family to sweep her off her feet! Twerk is a silver lab who came to our rescue just 5 weeks old. Unfortunately, Twerk suffered a spinal injury at birth; which resulted in her having limited mobility in her back legs and difficulty being able to control her potty. Despite her having lived with these conditions her entire life, Twerk has always been the happiest girl and makes new friends wherever she goes! She does well with people and other dogs of all shape and size, and will make an amazing companion for any person or family willing to take on her dissability!
Bobbi
Bobbi is approximately 2 years old and is an absolute sweetheart. She LOVES car rides and would love a family that can take her on adventures around Colorado. She is energetic, playful, and loves people! She loves having dog friends but can be dog specific.
Bandit
Bandit is the calm cool and collected version of her sister Smokey! Bandit loves people and will seek out affection, but she is also content to be in the background and just people watch. She does well with other dogs and kids but isn't a big fan of cats. Bandit is a typical Husky and seeks out adventure in life! Because of this, her new home will need to have a secure fence and be able to give her consistent exercise to keep her adventurous spirit occupied!
Tommy
Tommy is a sweet, sensetive boy with a massive heart! This 2.5 year old Bernadoodle is a playful boy, who loves to make new friends! Tommy does great with people, but can be fearful of small kiddos and because of this will need a home without kids under the age of 10.
Chicago
This teenie tiny 10 month old chihuahua is simply too cute for his own good! Chicago is a typical little dog, who enjoys being the center of attention at all times and is in search of a person or family to treat him like the king he is.

Feisty
Meet Feisty! This medium-sized fireball is around 1.5 years old. Feisty is a small but mighty diva who is looking for an extra special person to sweep her off her feet! She is a girl who loves routine, and because of this can take some time to warm up to new people and places. Because of this, Feisty is looking for a patient person, who may be willing to build a relationship with her at the rescue before taking her home!
